"I left feeling refreshed. Focused. This held me through in the hardest times in my world. Supporting a large family through the death of not one but two pets has been emotionally exhausting. Taking your course has allowed me to move through the experience with calm. Reminding me that I can be the rock everyone needs without it taking away from me." --Patti B, Jan 2023

Course Overview

This self-paced course is enhanced by routinely scheduled live discussions with the instructor Master Dean Siminoff. Enhanced Resilience Training empowers people who have been disconnected from their bodies through trauma (whether intergenerational or personal), and uses a group social setting to reset the body’s alarm system, shifting the body and mind to a place of safety through positive neuro-regulation. In this introductory course, you will hear from Master Dean and Dr. Stephen Porges on why ERT™ is so effective, gain new insight into Polyvagal Theory, and learn tools you can use immediately for yourself or your clients. You’ll understand how this unique methodology combines the latest scientific understanding of trauma and the nervous system with a dynamic mind/body approach to “re-program” the nervous system. In your life or professional practice, does full healing seem a bit elusive? Polyvagal Theory has given us a common language and road map of our nervous system that can guide us to a better understanding of our bodies’ response to trauma. Enhanced Resilience Training™ will allow you to work through the body to feel a sense of safety that is essential for the beginning of healing. Most of us have experienced trauma in some form. We recognize we live in a traumatized world. As Dr. Stephen Porges believes, “we have two main biological imperatives: to feel safe and to socially engage.” The Enhanced Resilience Training (ERT™) provides a comprehensive approach to feeding our nervous system what it most desires. Enhanced Resilience Training™ prescribes the ideal mix of physical activities and theoretical training on the impact of trauma on the nervous system to guide participants towards social engagement and resilience. This self-paced course is enhanced by routinely scheduled live discussions with instructor Master Dean Siminoff. In speaking about ERT™, Dr. Porges says, "It is good to have a blueprint for humanity and a language for it, but it is insightful interventions like ERT™ that really grasp onto the basic principles of what it means to be human and give us rehabilitation strategies that are very consistent with what our nervous system is really desiring.” Course includes optional one hour live discussions with Master Dean for students to connect with each other and ask questions. Students will have access to the course for 180 days from the date of purchase. Note: This self-paced training will introduce you to elements of ERT that you would experience with one of Master Dean’s in-person training programs. After you attend this online introductory course, you may choose to attend a 15-hour live session in-person (for locations and schedule, contact Master Dean). PVI students will have their fee waived for attending any live version of this course with Master Dean, if your schedule and location allows.

ERT™ is a comprehensive and dynamic approach for empowering and aiding recovery from the effects of trauma. Through this online, self-paced course, Master Dean will walk you through each key element of ERT™ with explanations and physical demonstrations. The course completes with prerecorded conversations between Dr. Porges, Master Dean and Abby Napora.
